Taylors College Sydney 2027 Tuition Increase: Accept Your Offer Before 20 September to Lock In Current Fees
Taylors College Sydney has confirmed new 2027 tuition fees for its University of Sydney pathway programs. Offers accepted by 20 September 2026 (11:59pm AEST) keep the current fee; offers accepted from 21 September 2026 pay the new price. Here is the fee table and what to do now.
Taylors College Sydney, the official pathway provider for the University of Sydney, has told its partner agents that tuition fees for 2027-entry programs are increasing from January 2027, and the new pricing applies to any offer accepted from 21 September 2026 (Monday). If you accept your offer by 20 September 2026 (Sunday), 11:59pm AEST, you keep the current, lower fee. This guide sets out the new fee table, explains the cut-off exactly, and tells you what to check before the deadline.
New 2027 tuition fees
According to Taylors College Sydney’s official partner communication, the confirmed 2027 tuition fees are:
| Program | New 2027 tuition fee (AUD) |
|---|---|
| University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) – Standard | $49,800 |
| University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) – Intensive | $47,690 |
| High Achievers Preparation Program (HAPP) | $32,240 |
These figures apply to offers accepted from 21 September 2026 onward, for commencement in 2027. Taylors College has not published a revised figure for any other course, intake year, or component (such as accommodation or living costs) in this notice, so this guide does not speculate on those. Always confirm the exact fee that applies to your specific offer letter and intake with Taylors College or the University of Sydney directly, since individual offers can carry course-specific inclusions.
The 20 September 2026 deadline, exactly as stated
Taylors College Sydney’s grace period works like this:
- Accept your offer by Sunday, 20 September 2026, 11:59pm AEST → you are billed at the current (pre-increase) tuition fee, even though your program starts in 2027.
- Accept your offer on or after Monday, 21 September 2026 → the new 2027 fee shown in the table above applies, with no exceptions stated in the notice.
AEST is Australian Eastern Standard Time (Sydney time). If you are overseas, convert the cut-off to your local time zone before you plan your acceptance — do not rely on your own time zone’s Sunday date, since the deadline is fixed to Sydney time.
Why this matters if you already hold an offer
If you already have a USFP or HAPP offer for 2027 entry that you have not yet accepted, the fee you pay depends only on when you formally accept, not on when the offer was issued or when you first applied. This means:
- An offer issued weeks ago still moves to the new fee if you accept it on or after 21 September 2026.
- Accepting early does not commit you to anything you were not already planning — but it does lock in the current fee for a program that starts in 2027.
- If your offer is conditional (for example, on final school results or an English test score), check with Taylors College or your counsellor whether accepting the offer now, ahead of receiving those results, is possible and appropriate for your situation. Our guide on conditional vs unconditional offers explains how conditional acceptance generally works.
- Review the offer conditions, deadlines and refund terms that apply to your specific offer before you accept, so you understand what happens if your circumstances change later.
If you have not yet applied, you will need to receive and accept an offer before 20 September 2026 to qualify for the current fee — this is unlikely to be achievable if you have not already started your application, so plan on the new 2027 pricing unless Taylors College confirms otherwise for your case.
What to do now
- Check whether you hold an unaccepted offer. If Taylors College or the University of Sydney has already sent you a USFP or HAPP offer for 2027, find your offer letter and confirm the acceptance steps.
- Work out your local deadline in AEST. Convert 20 September 2026, 11:59pm AEST into your own time zone so you do not miss the cut-off by a few hours.
- Confirm any conditions on your offer. If your offer is conditional, ask Taylors College or your education counsellor whether you can accept now and satisfy the conditions afterwards.
- Budget for the fee that actually applies to you. If you cannot accept before the deadline, plan your finances around the new 2027 fee table above, not the current pricing.
- Contact Taylors College Admissions directly for anything specific to your offer (Admissions@taylorscollege.edu.au), since only the college can confirm your individual offer status and acceptance deadline.
How UNILINK can help
If you are working with UNILINK on your University of Sydney or broader Australian pathway application, we can help you check your offer status, understand the acceptance steps, and coordinate with Taylors College within the relevant deadline. Within its approved free service scope for Australian universities and their official pathway providers, UNILINK does not charge a separate platform service fee for this kind of application support — course tuition, visa costs and other third-party fees remain payable directly to the institution or government. If you are unsure whether your case falls within that free scope, ask us early so there is enough time to act before 20 September 2026.
FAQ
Q1: Does the 20 September 2026 deadline apply to all Taylors College Sydney programs?
The partner notice specifically confirms new 2027 fees for the University of Sydney Foundation Program (Standard and Intensive) and the High Achievers Preparation Program. If you are considering a different program, confirm directly with Taylors College whether the same acceptance deadline and fee change apply.
Q2: I already accepted my offer before this notice. Does the new fee affect me?
The notice describes fees for offers accepted from 21 September 2026. If you already accepted your offer earlier, confirm your locked-in fee with Taylors College directly, since this guide only summarises the new pricing and the cut-off date, not individual account status.
Q3: What happens if I accept my offer on 21 September 2026 itself?
Based on the notice, the current fee applies only to offers accepted by 20 September 2026, 11:59pm AEST. Acceptances from 21 September 2026 onward are treated as new offers under the 2027 fee table.
Q4: Do these fees include living costs or other expenses?
No. The figures in this guide are the tuition fees confirmed in Taylors College’s partner communication. Accommodation, living costs, OSHC and other expenses are separate and are not covered by this notice.
Q5: Who do I contact to confirm my own offer and deadline?
Contact Taylors College Sydney Admissions at Admissions@taylorscollege.edu.au for anything specific to your individual offer. If UNILINK is assisting with your application, we can help you liaise with Taylors College within the deadline.
