CSU Your Future in Care: preparing for the Sydney and Melbourne sessions

Prepare for CSU’s free November care information sessions with the correct local venue, timetable and a short list of questions about your background and study plans.

If you are already in Australia, CSU’s Your Future in Care 2026 sessions offer an opportunity to ask course questions in person. Charles Sturt University is holding the Melbourne event on 4 November 2026 and the Sydney event on 5 November 2026. Entry is free. In each programme, Bachelor of Nursing is scheduled for 4:30 pm–5:00 pm and Master of Social Work for 6:00 pm–6:30 pm.

For an onshore student, useful preparation starts with the course decision you are trying to make. Write down your current qualification, the field you have studied and the point you want clarified. That gives a conversation with the university team a clearer focus than asking whether “care” is a good choice in general.

Put the right venue in your calendar

The Melbourne session is at 222 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The Sydney session is at 77 Berry Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. The official event page contains the two schedules and the CSU registration form provides the booking entry point.

Check the presentation you want before making travel arrangements. Bachelor of Nursing begins at 4:30 pm in both cities. Master of Nursing is at 5:00 pm in Melbourne and 5:30 pm in Sydney. Master of Health is scheduled at 5:30 pm in Melbourne and 5:00 pm in Sydney. Master of Social Work starts at 6:00 pm in both cities.

Leave with an answer you can use

The reminder names Master of Nursing, Master of Health Professional Practice and Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying). The event timetable uses shorter labels for health and social work. During the session, ask how the relevant course fits your academic background, which campus is available for that specific course and what entry requirements need a separate check.

Keep any answer tied to its course and campus. A presentation taking place in a city does not establish that every course on the programme is offered there. An information session also does not settle admission, professional registration, a visa or employment.

The CSU Sydney and Melbourne website identifies the campuses and their operating arrangements. Keep the event notice separate from any later course or application decision.
